Simple tricks to relax your mind

When life gets stressful and you feel like you’re losing your emotional balance, use one or more of these simple tricks to help you relax your mind and re-center yourself in an instant.

  1. Wash your hands and face, and brush your teeth
  2. Stretch your body
  3. Change your socks for refreshment
  4. Go outdoors
  5. Call a close friend and have a few minutes of happy chat
  6. Take a light exercise break(may be few jumping jacks or even a walk)
  7. Dress to feel your best
  8. Listen to your favorite music
  9. Cook a tasty meal
  10. Watch or read something that inspires you
  11. Walk away from energy vampires
  12. Have a good laugh
  13. Take a few really deep, controlled breaths
  14. Complete an important piece of unfinished business
  15. Work on something that’s meaningful to you
  16. Clear your stuffed nose
  17. Assist someone in need
  18. Take a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come
  19. Think about your latest (or greatest) success
  20. Act like today is already an awesome day
  21. Notice what’s right in life right now
