The 57th Annual Conference of Bombay Orthopaedic Society named as WIROC ( WESTERN INDIA REGIONAL ORTHOPAEDIC CONFERENCE) MAX 2022 was held at Jio World Convention Centre BKC Mumbai. The 1st day i(28th Dec 2022) was held virtually & over 100 complex surgeries were relayed. Over next 3 days ( 29-31st Dec 2022) 1250 Orthopaedic surgeons across the country & some across the globe attendee 120 plus scientific sessions in the conference.
The organizing Chairman Dr Rajesh Gandhi said today Bombay Orthopaedic Society is considered as a role model for other medical associations & WIROC is regarded as benchmark of Orthopedic Conferences in this part of the world.
Dr Ashish Phadnis the organising secretary of WIROC MAX 2022 said 360 scientific research papers were received , a record breaking delegates registration along with trade participate & has given a platform to young budding Orthopaedic surgeons to showcase their talent & clinical acumen.
Dr Ram Chaddha President Elect of Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) remarked the grand venue of the conference helped in upscaling the conference on multiple fronts.
Another organizing secretary of WIROC MAX 2022 Dr Abhijit Kale said this conference served as a forum for exchange of scientific information & upgrading the quality of research in our country which will lead to better patient care with healthy & productive workforce to build a stronger nation with stronger bones.
