Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Records Sales of 5.79 Lakh Units in August 2026

Registers 8% YoY Growth

 Gurugram, September 01, 2026: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) recorded total sales of 5.79 Lakh units in August 2026, registering 8% year-on-year growth compared to 5.34 Lakh units sold in August 2025.

 

Domestic sales in August 2026 stood at 5.17 Lakh units, registering 8% growth over 4.81 Lakh units sold in August 2025. Exports stood at 0.61 Lakh units in August 2026, recording 15% growth compared to 0.53 Lakh units exported in August 2025.

 

For the year-to-date period of FY27 (April-August 2026), HMSI recorded total sales of 27.33 Lakh units, registering 13% growth over 24.25 Lakh units sold during Apr-Aug 2025. Domestic sales stood at 24.07 Lakh units during Apr-Aug 2026, recording 11% growth compared to 21.76 Lakh units sold during April-Aug 2025. Exports stood at 3.26 Lakh units during April-Aug 2026, registering 31% growth over 2.49 Lakh units exported during April-Aug 2025.

 

During August 2026, HMSI continued to serve customers across markets, reinforcing its commitment to mobility solutions across India through a nationwide network of over 7,000 touchpoints.
