WIRC of ICAI for set up of Covid 19 Economic Response Study Group
Western India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (WIRC - ICAI) has set up Covid 19 Economic Response Study Group, that will take guidance from expert CAs in Industry and practice and give suggestions to the State Governments of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. The endeavour would be to identify, study and suggest solutions for economic issues arising due to the pandemic, as also help CAs in practice and service to overcome the limitations imposed by the pandemic and the consequent lockdown. While making this announcement Chairman WIRC CA Lalit Bajaj said “Chartered Accountants are Partners in Nation Building. At this critical juncture, our Study Group will work round the clock to give correct inputs to the Government in their efforts to stabilise and grow the economy through right policies and incentives.”
