ANDHERI CHA RAJA 2026
Established in 1966, Azad Nagar Sarvajanik Utsav Samiti has been celebrating Ganeshotsav with devotion and grandeur for the past 60 years. Over the years, the Samiti has become a respected cultural and social institution in Andheri, actively contributing towards community welfare and preservation of Indian traditions.
Apart from Ganeshotsav, the Samiti organizes:
Dahi Handi Utsav, Navratri Utsav, Diwali Celebrations, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Medical & Health Camps, Blood Donation Drives, Cricket & Sports Activities, Educational Assistance Programs, Gunagaurav Awards for Meritorious Students, Distribution of Food Grains, Clothes and Essential Supplies to Tribal Families in Palghar, The Samiti remains dedicated to the values of Seva, Sanskruti and Samajik Jababdari.

Thousands of devotees are expected to visit Andhericha Raja and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha during the festival.
3) DECORATION / THEME
SHRI RAM JANMABHOOMI TEERTH KSHETRA – AYODHYA
For the 61st Year Celebration, Andhericha Raja will present a magnificent recreation of the world-renowned Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Ayodhya, one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India.
The Shri Ram Mandir is built at the birthplace of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple stands as a symbol of faith, righteousness, sacrifice, and India's timeless cultural heritage.
Constructed in the traditional Nagara architectural style, the temple is an extraordinary masterpiece featuring intricately carved sandstone pillars, beautifully sculpted mandaps, majestic shikharas, ornate domes, and detailed stone craftsmanship. Since its consecration, the temple has become a spiritual beacon attracting millions of devotees from across the world.
Inspired by this architectural marvel, Andhericha Raja 2026 aims to recreate the grandeur and divine atmosphere of Ayodhya, enabling devotees to experience the magnificence of Shri Ram Mandir while seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
THEME HIGHLIGHTS
Grand Temple Architecture
The theme set is being created with intricate carvings and architectural elements inspired by the original Shri Ram Mandir.

Mandap Structures - Grand Rang Mandap & Decorative Sabha Mandap
Jali & Frame Work - Multiple intricately designed temple-style Jali Panels, Ornamental Frames inspired by Ayodhya Temple carvings
Domes & Kalash - Large Decorative Domes with Kalash, Multiple Smaller Temple Domes, Traditional Temple Roof Detailing
SCALE OF EXECUTION
The project is being executed on a grand scale: Approx. 14,000 Sq. Ft. wooden falli Platform Area, Approx. 4,800 Sq. Ft. Decorative Ceiling Cloth, More than 4 tones of steel Fabrication, Approx. 1,500 Running Feet of Decorative Cornices and Beams, Hundreds of Carved Architectural Elements, Large Temple Facade inspired by Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
ARTISTIC EXECUTION
The theme is being developed over several months by a team of skilled artisans, sculptors, fabricators, painters, and craftsmen under the guidance of:
Art Director – Dharmesh K. Shah - The objective is to provide devotees with an immersive spiritual and architectural experience while maintaining authenticity and artistic excellence.
ECO-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE
The decorative structures and architectural elements are designed using reusable materials, ensuring sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.
4) CULTURAL & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
During the Ganeshotsav period, the Samiti will organize:
Bhajan Sandhya, Cultural Programs, Children's Competitions, Medical Camps, Social Awareness Activities, Community Welfare Programs, Kathak Dance, Bharatnatyam, Bal Dance, etc.
Continuing the tradition of combining devotion with social service.
5) SECURITY
Extensive security arrangements have been planned for the safety and convenience of devotees:
CCTV Cameras, Fire Safety Equipment, Fire Bucket, Male & Female Security Personnel, Dedicated Mandal Volunteers, Additional Police Assistance, Metal Detector Gates, Hand-Held Security Scanners, Walkie-Talkie Communication System, Emergency Response Team, FSR Training Camp
6) INSURANCE
The entire Ganeshotsav celebration including decorations, mandap, infrastructure, Jewelry, public liability, Fire, Burglary, personal accident policy is comprehensively covered under by The New India Assurance Company Ltd worth total cover of sum Rs. 23.52 Corers.
7) SYSTEM OF DARSHAN
Special arrangements will be made for:
Senior Citizens, Divyang Devotees, Pregnant Women
A systematic queue management process will ensure a smooth and comfortable Darshan experience for all devotees.
Dress code will be applicable as usual as every year.
Best time for Darshan 5.00 am to 11.00 am and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
8) VISARJAN
Date: 29th September
Time: From 6:00 PM onwards
The Visarjan procession will be conducted with devotion, discipline, and adherence to all civic and safety regulations.
