Rays Power Infra Limited via it subsidiary Bhalki Solar Power Prive Limited, has been awarded the mandate to develop and construct a 200 MW Round-the-Clock (RTC) Renewable Energy project to supply Round the Clock Green Power to One of Railways Energy Management Corporation Limited (REMCL)
The project will integrate more than 700 MW of Solar and Wind capacity, supported by over 1000 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), ensuring uninterrupted RTC power delivery. The Project will add Rs. ~5,000 Crores in its orderbook, to be commission by June-28
The project will use modules manufactured using solar cells sourced from Rays Power’s upcoming cell manufacturing facility under its subsidiary, Rays Green Energy, which is currently under construction in Madhya Pradesh.
Rays Power will deploy its own Solar and Wind Parks for developing this project. The RTC framework and design will open the new opportunities for future Green Power applications, including Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, AI Data Centres, and other high-energy intensive sectors.
Ketan Mehta, Managing Director, Rays Power Infra said, “This win represents the culmination of a development journey we began two years ago, when we undertook development of solar–wind co-located hybrid sites across multiple locations. These efforts have delivered significant cost competitiveness and maximised utilisation of evacuation infrastructure, enabling us to achieve one of the lowest LCOEs in the industry.
We will be leveraging this strategic advantage across several projects, and you will see many more such developments and wins in our portfolio over the coming years. This approach positions us to win projects more confidently—without compromising profitability—while continuing to create superior value for our customers”
Vaibhav Roongta, Chief Business Officer, Rays Power Infra Ltd said “The RTC renewable energy model aligns strongly with India’s national objective of building 24x7 green power ecosystems. With this win, Rays Power Infra is set to contribute significantly to enhancing grid stability, reducing dependence on conventional energy sources, and supporting the country’s decarbonization goals. The project will integrate diverse renewable assets and advanced storage systems, ensuring firm power supply during non-solar hours while maintaining cost efficiency”
About Rays Power Infra Ltd.
We are engaged in the business of providing utility scale end-to-end renewable energy solutions with a focus on solar energy solutions. We specialize in the development of ‘ready-to-build’ infrastructure for renewable power projects under our Co-Development Business model and providing engineering, construction and procurement services for renewable power projects under our EPC business. We are among the leading players in the Indian solar industry with a demonstrated track record, along with being one of the pioneers of the Co-Development Business model in India (Source: CRISIL Report).
In our Co-Development Business, our typical scope of work includes land aggregation, securing grid connectivity (both inter-state and intra-state as the case maybe), and assisting with approvals such as connectivity permissions, bay allocation, captive arrangements, and PPAs tailored to our customer’s requirements in a separate SPV, followed by transferring these SPVs to our customers and further undertaking EPC and O&M activities, basis the contractual arrangements with our customers.
We, currently have a diversified renewable energy portfolio of approximately 11,665 MWp, comprising solar, wind, and hybrid projects. As of Jan 31, 2026, we have commissioned capacity ~2247.30 MWp. Additionally, we also have a contracted capacity of 4,029.43 MWp, an under-development capacity of 3,889.00 MWp, and 2,300.00 MWp of capacity at advanced stages across 13 States and 1 Union Territory in India.
