Mumbai Gears Up for Power & Precision WIAA Women’s Car Rally to the Valley 2026, Presented by JK Tyre, Flags Off on Saturday, March 28. Celebrating Women in Motorsport, Road Safety & Driving Change

Mumbai, March 2026:  In a powerful celebration of confidence, courage, and responsible driving, the Western India 

Automobile Association (WIAA) proudly announces the much-awaited WIAA Women’s Car Rally to the Valley 2026, presented by JK Tyre and powered by Westside, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28th March 2026. 

The rally will be flagged off from NSCI, Mumbai, with participants navigating a scenic yet challenging route to Novotel Imagica, Khopoli, where the event will conclude with an awards ceremony and felicitation of winners. 

This year, the rally will witness participation from approximately 75 cars and over 200 women, coming together from different parts of the city and beyond, making it one of the most inspiring women-led motoring events in the region. Each team will drive with creative themes and awareness messages, spreading the importance of road safety, discipline, and women empowerment. 

With a legacy of over 107 years, WIAA continues to lead initiatives that promote safe mobility, road safety awareness, responsible driving, and social advocacy. The Women’s Rally to the Valley remains one of its flagship events, dedicated to encouraging women to take the wheel with confidence while promoting safer roads for everyone. 

A Rally with a Purpose 

Unlike conventional races, the event follows the Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format, where accuracy, timing, and teamwork matter more than speed. The format promotes patience, alertness, and disciplined driving habits, values that are essential not only in motorsport but in everyday life on the road. 

The rally is also organised as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, highlighting the important role women play in shaping responsible driving behaviour within families and society. As mothers, professionals, and leaders, women influence the next generation, making them key ambassadors of road safety and awareness. 

More Than Competition - A Platform for Awareness 

Participants will not only compete for top honours but will also be recognised across multiple award categories, celebrating performance, teamwork, spirit, creativity, and adherence to rally discipline. 

Through decorated cars, themed participation, and awareness messages, the rally aims to spread the message that safe driving is smart driving, and empowered women create safer roads.
