Grand Presentation of “Nrutya, Natika evam Sangeet Ramayan” Enthralls Audience on Ram Navmi

Mumbai – On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami the iconic Shanmukhanand Hall witnessed a spectacular presentation of “Nrutya, Natika evam Sangeet Ramayan,” leaving the audience spellbound. The event was not merely a cultural program but a deeply spiritual and immersive experience, beautifully blending devotion, art, and powerful storytelling.

The production brought the timeless epic of Ramayan to life through exceptional performances by a talented ensemble of artists. 

Himanshu Soni as Lord Ram, Gauri Ingawale as Sita, Kunal Phadke as Lakshman, and Karan Karande as Hanuman delivered compelling portrayals that resonated deeply with the audience. Veteran actor Mahesh Manjrekar as King Dasharath and Sameera Gujar as Kausalya added gravitas, while Puneet Issar’s powerful depiction of Ravan stood out as a highlight.

A special Kathak performance by Nikita Banawalikar depicting the episodes of “Sita Haran” and “Jatayu Yuddha” received immense appreciation for its grace and intensity. The dance direction by Neha Kamat, combined with soulful singing by Savani Ravindra, Nachiket Desai, and the chorus, elevated the overall experience. The music composed by Nitin Shankar added depth and emotion to the narrative.

The live band featuring Sachin Dhamankar, Abhijit Narvekar, Prasad Pathare, Deven Yogi, Shruti Bhave, Zuber Shaikh, Sushant Singh, and the chorus created a rich musical backdrop. Sound design by Nitish Phanse and lighting by the Humne team enhanced the grandeur of the production. 

The seamless execution was supported by team members Kumar, Antra, and Piyush, while AI contributions by Bhushan Pawar brought a contemporary touch to the traditional storytelling.

The lyrics, penned by Sunil Deshpande and Ruchi Aarohi, beautifully captured the essence of the epic, with a special mention to Vijay Prakash for the impactful Tandav segment.

Adding a personal touch, Sanjay Mahale appeared on stage as “Sanju Baba,” contributing to the emotional and creative depth of the performance. Under his vision and leadership, the entire team came together to create an unforgettable and divine experience.

The event successfully transcended entertainment, invoking deep emotions and reinforcing the timeless values of the Ramayan. 

It received an overwhelming response from the audience, marking it as a grand and memorable celebration of culture and devotion.
