Korum Mall to Host 4th Pinnacle FIDE Rated Rapid Chess Tournament*

Thane, 8th November 2025 – Korum Mall, in association with the Thane District Chess Association (TDCA), is all set to host the 4th Pinnacle FIDE Rated Rapid Chess Tournament on 9th November 2025, organized by Pinnacle Chess Events. After three successful editions, the much-anticipated tournament returns to Thane, promising an intense day of rapid-format matches where precision, timing, and strategy take center stage.


The All India Chess Federation (AICF) and FIDE have recognized the event, with ratings under the Thane District Chess Association and Maharashtra Chess Association, cementing its place as one of the key tournaments in India’s fast-growing chess circuit.

Players from across Maharashtra and other parts of the country will participate, including promising young talents as well as experienced masters. With each move timed to perfection, the tournament will highlight the best of rapid-format chess—a game of intellect, nerve, and speed.


In line with its inclusive spirit, the tournament will also feature special categories and awards for physically challenged and visually impaired participants, ensuring that chess remains a sport for everyone.
