August 26, 2025 : Azad Nagar Sarvajanik Utsav Samiti proudly announces the celebration of the 60th year (हीरक महोत्सव) of Ganeshotsav. For six glorious decades, this festival has been a symbol of devotion, unity, and cultural pride, bringing together people of all faiths and generations.

 

Azad Nagar Sarvajanik Utsav Samiti : 

Established in 1966, the Azad Nagar Sarvajanik Utsav Samiti has been celebrating Ganeshotsav with devotion and grandeur for the past 59 years. Alongside Ganeshotsav, the Samiti also organizes various cultural and social initiatives throughout the year, such as:

• Dahi Handi Utsav, Navaratri Utsav, Diwali Phat, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.

• Medical camps, cricket tournaments, and sports activities for Azad Nagar residents.

• Distribution of clothes, pulses, and grains to Adivasi families in Palghar.

• Gunagaurav functions to encourage and felicitate meritorious students.

MURTHI STHAPNA : Date: 27th August 2025

Time: Pooja begins at 11:00 AM; First Aarti at 12:00 Noon.

From 1:00 PM onwards, devotees may begin taking Darshan of Shri Ganesh.

DECORATION/ THEME :  

On this special Hirak Mahotsav, the Samiti is recreating a magnificent replica of the world-famous “Sarangpur Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji Mandir” (Gujarat).

o The temple, revered globally, is known for devotees seeking relief from sorrows and troubles (कष्टभंजन).

o A 32-feet tall Lord Hanuman idol, crafted as an exact replica, will be installed.

o This idol, made entirely from fiber material, is reusable for years, symbolizing environmental protection and sustainability.

o The setup spans 5,000 sq. ft., created over 90 days by 70+ skilled craftsmen led by Art Director Dharmesh Shah.

o The design is eco-friendly and reusable for future events.

o Alongside Ganeshotsav festivities, the Samiti will host:

o Cultural programs, bhajan evenings, medical camps, and social awareness activities – upholding its commitment of blending devotion with community service.

Devotees, residents, and well-wishers are invited to experience the divine energy of Shree Ganesh and Sarangpur Kashtabhanjan Hanumanji at Azad Nagar.

SECURITY: 

 The mandap premises and outdoor stalls will be secured with:

• 40 CCTV cameras

• 32 fire cylinders

• Male & female security personnel, mandal volunteers, and additional police force.

• 3 metal doors, 4 hand detectors, and 20 walkie-talkies will ensure smooth and safe Darshan

INSURANCE:

The entire Ganeshotsav event will be covered under insurance.

SYSTEM OF DARSHAN:

All devotes will be allowed to take the Charan Sparsh Darshan of Bappa.
