After the Massive Success of Kanguva, Makers Unveil New Song “Maafi” Featuring Suriya

The makers of Kanguva have unveiled a new song titled “Maafi” from the highly anticipated film, which is rapidly gaining attention for its theatrical success. The film has recorded a whopping box office collection of  gross total, 127.64 crores worldwide. Directed by Siva, Kanguva has not only captured the imagination of audiences with its stunning visuals but also resonated deeply with fans due to its heartwarming portrayal of the bond between Surya (played by Suriya) and a young child.


The song "Maafi" beautifully encapsulates the emotional core of the movie, which revolves around Suriya’s character navigating the trials and tribulations of life in the mesmerizing world of Kanguva set in the year 1070. This emotional track brings to the forefront the tenderness and love between the protagonist and the little one, a relationship that forms the backbone of the entire film.

‘Kanguva’ is the biggest and most expensive film of this year which was released on November 14, 2024 also starring Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. With an estimated budget of over 350 crore, it's bigger than the likes of Pushpa, Singham, and several other big films. Moreover, the film has been shot across seven different countries on various continents of India. The makers had a very specific look in mind, as this is a very unique film showing the prehistoric period. The makers hired experts from Hollywood for the technical departments like action and cinematography. The film has one of the biggest war sequences, featuring over 10,000 people. Studio Green has signed up with top distribution houses to release the film on a massive scale across the globe.
