Maharashtra is one of the largest contributors to India's exports: Shri Ramesh Bais
Federation of Indian Export Organizations (Western Region) organised 8th & 9th Export Excellence Award Distribution Ceremony in the august presence of Governor of Maharashtra of Ramesh Bais today in Mumbai.
Speaking on this occasion Governor of Maharashtra Shri Ramesh Bais said that "The state of Maharashtra is one of the largest contributors to India's exports and is continuously increasing its share in world trade through export promotion and trade facilitation initiatives.
President of FIEO Shri Ashwani Kumar said that "FIEO started this financial year on a positive note, the merchandise exports grew by 3% in April and over 9% in May while services exports grew close to 12% in both the months.
Shri Ashwani Kumar further added that “This is a remarkable achievement looking into global headwinds flowing from Ukraine & Russia War, Hamas- Israel conflict, crisis in the Red Sea and related logistics challenges and high interest.” The FIEO President congratulated and acknowledged the effort of all the Award Winners and the EXIM Fraternity as a whole."
56 Top Performing Exporter were felicitated during this 8th & 9th Set of Export Excellence Awards, across various categories like Highest Foreign Exchange Earner, Women Entrepreneur, Emerging Exporters, Banks & Financial Institutions and Service Providers.
