Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre is proud to announce its recognition by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO), India, as a Centre for Quality Promotion (CQP). This recognition highlights the hospital's commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and patient safety in healthcare delivery. A day-long regional healthcare conclave in association with CAHO India at P. D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mahim. Some of the key healthcare leaders from Mumbai along with CAHO India executive committee attended and shared their knowledge and insights at this engaging and exciting conclave.
CAHO, at the forefront of promoting quality and patient safety in the healthcare sector, has launched the concept of Centres for Quality Promotion (CQP) to extend the reach of its quality initiatives across the healthcare landscape across the country. These recognized centres, comprising of accredited healthcare organizations equipped with trained quality implementers, play a pivotal role in fostering awareness about patient safety and healthcare quality among smaller and medium healthcare organizations.

Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre has received many noteworthy accreditations and certifications from NABH to being the first to receive CAP accreditation as well as being certified by Bureau Veritas for its Green OT practices. Under the able leadership of Mr. Joy Chakraborty, the hospital has been bestowed with many awards, key ones being AHPI Award 2023 for Quality Beyond Accreditation; 2nd Runner-up for Best Healthcare Skilling Institute by CII Hospital Tech 2022 Conclave; AHPI Award 2022 for patient-friendly Hospital and many more. P. D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre was also ranked no. 1 in the Private Hospital Category for Clean and Safe Hospital by Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan in 2023.

● Conducting regular training programs (at least once in three months), in collaboration with CAHO, to enhance the capacity of smaller hospitals in quality management practices
