UNIQLO First Mumbai Store Opens at Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla

October 6, 2023, Mumbai – Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today opened its long-anticipated first store in Mumbai at Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, Mumbai. The new store will offer customers in Mumbai a new shopping experience that showcases LifeWear – the company’s commitment to creating perfect clothing that meets the requirements of everyone’s daily lifestyle needs.

Prior to the official opening of the store, a ribbon cutting ceremony took place in front of a line of enthusiatic customers, who were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to shop at Mumbai’s first ever UNIQLO. Phoenix Marketcity Kurla is UNIQLO’s 11th brick-and-mortar store in India.

Spread across two floors, the UNIQLO Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, Mumbai store will offer consumers a range of LifeWear collections for men, women, kids, and babies, with its thoughtfully designed, high-quality, and functional products that are made for all.


The store will also offer the entire range of Fall/Winter products, such as its innovative and functional Ultra Light Down, HEATTECH, and Recycled Fleece garments, as well as products featuring premium fabrics such as cashmere, lambswool, and merino. Customers can also find UNIQLO’s essential items such as easy-care rayon, AIRism T-shirts, denims, fine cloth shirts, and smart ankle pants. The lineup will also include the special UNIQLO and KAWS collaboration UT T- shirt collection.

In addition, the new store also features a creative rendition of the spirit of Mumbai by local architect and illustrator Aashti Miller. Her vibrant artwork, spread across the escalator wall, highlights iconic elements of Mumbai – from the colossal structure of the Gateway of India to the delight of a day’s

cutting chai, her designs capture the true essence of the maximum city.
