A big thank you for sparing your precious time for Child Safety Week from 14th – 20th November 2022. Your involvement was an encouragement to this collaborative movement of Child Safety.
This Child Safety Week, organizations across India and the globe marked their whole-hearted support to raise unified voices & build mainstream conversations around Child Sexual Abuse.
Hon. Dr Zoya Ali Rizvi (Deputy Commissioner, National Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India) and Hon. Mr Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister, State Government of Maharashtra, remained our steadfast support to take this initiative to the extra mile through their networks.
Various organizations conducted manifold activities ranging from awareness sessions with adults & children in their communities, employee engagements through training sessions to schools observing the week by sensitizing children on Personal Safety workshops. Some schools actively organized pledge-taking sessions receiving excellent responses from children.
Social media hustled with the liveliness of tweet-chats, Facebook & Instagram live sessions, video messages, and informative content, helping the campaign earn a multiverse audience globally.
Voices of eminent personalities, from celebrities to parenting influencers to individuals, let the #NeverTooLate campaign messages imprint plentiful hearts. Some well-known personalities include Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Tara Sharma, Chhavi Mittal, Hema Malini, Shweta Kawatra, Jatin Sapru, Sudha Menon and Pooja Jurmania.
Western & Central Railway, Mumbai Division’s excellent support through platform announcements & banners and permission to perform Nukkad Natak at multiple stations surely deserves a unique share in the success of reaching out to millions of people with Child Safety messages.
While Child Safety Week 2022 saw an overwhelming response all over India, some states like Maharashtra, Gujrat, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh outshined through extra efforts by various Government departments following a directive by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
As we close the fourth edition of Child Safety Week 2022, we cordially thank each & every partner for their enthusiastic and positive support to take this movement forward. We extend our gratitude to the media that helped us reach the corners of India through their print and digital news networks.
We count on your continued support beyond Child Safety Week to walk the journey towards a world free of Child Sexual Abuse.
Thank you again for making Child Safety Week 2022 & campaign #NeverTooLate a great success!
