Admissions open at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for Engineering Ph.D. programs

MUMBAI, December 23, 2021: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, ranked 5^th best university in NIRF rankings 2021, has announced that admissions for full-time Engineering Ph.D. programs are open till December 31, 2021. The programs, with scholarships, are available at the varsity’s campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam, Kerala), Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is NAAC 'A++' accredited Institute of Eminence.

 

Thrust areas for research under the PH.D. programs include fields such as Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computational Engineering & Networking (CEN), Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, Earth Sciences, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering (Multidisciplinary), Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Development and Wireless Networks & Applications.

 

Amrita Ph.D. students have exchange opportunities with 200+ international academic institutions, in addition to Dual Ph.D. programs with renowned global universities. Students receive scholarships up to Rs 50,000 per month along with additional support for research infrastructure, facilities and publications. Funded positions include Research Associates, Teaching Associates, Corporate Fellowships, and so on.

 

Eligibility for Admissions -

Applicants with CGPA above 6.5 at the Master’s Degree in ME, M. Tech., M. Sc., MCA, MS by Research, and MPhil are eligible to apply. Having CSIR, UGC NET, GATE qualification is a plus.
