Solve.Care and AliveCor Partner to Connect KardiaMobile Users with Physicians on Global Telehealth Exchange

Collaboration provides KardiaMobile users quick access to doctors worldwide for consultations about their ECG readings

National, October 28, 2021 - Solve.Care announced today that they have partnered with AliveCor to enable users of AliveCor’s KardiaMobile devices and services to easily book teleconsultations with physicians on the Global Telehealth Exchange (GTHE) network. Through this partnership, physicians on the network will be able to seamlessly access users’ KardiaMobile electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, upon their consent. The KardiaMobile 6L device is the first and only six-lead personal ECG cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It detects more arrhythmias than any other personal ECG device. GTHE is an open global cross-border telehealth network that enables doctors and patients to connect worldwide.

The partnership will see KardiaMobile devices integrated with Solve.Care’s blockchain platform to enable its users to connect with a physician on GTHE directly through the Kardia app to share their ECG readings during their teleconsultations. As physicians have access to previous ECG readings stored by KardiaMobile, this will provide physicians with a more complete understanding of the patient's symptoms to facilitate more effective ongoing care.  As GTHE is built using blockchain technology, all data is fully secured and remains in control of the patient.

Conversely, GTHE patients can purchase KardiaMobile devices directly in their Care.Wallet using SOLVE tokens, Solve.Care’s native digital currency that is used to pay for healthcare services. Care.Wallet is Solve.Care’s healthcare management app (available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) that is used to access various healthcare networks, including GTHE.

The agreement facilitates greater access to care, widening their choice of instantly booking a tele-consult with any specialized physician throughout the world directly through their mobile devices.

Mark Bogart, Senior Vice President, U.S. Healthcare, AliveCor said, “Our partnership with Solve.Care is important to us as it provides an additional layer of peace of mind to our KardiaMobile users who wish to connect with physicians through the Solve.Care Global Telehealth Exchange network.”

Pradeep Goel, CEO of Solve.Care said, “The healthcare industry is rapidly moving towards digitization. But we should never lose sight that the end-goal of healthcare is to improve the quality of life for the patient. This collaboration will immensely improve the quality of care for users of Care Networks on the Solve.Care Platform. With easy access to patients’ ECG readings, physicians can provide better care to patients on GTHE, as well as the Diabetes Care Network, as patients with type 2 diabetes are at greater risk of cardiovascular diseases.

GTHE was recently launched in India in September 2021, with HealthLink Technologies as the official distributor. This partnership announcement is welcome news to the over 260 million heart patients, and those at risk, enabling them to directly connect and have a tele-consult with a doctor for their ECG readings, without having to visit a hospital.

This service is expected to be made available to the market in Q1 of 2022. GTHE is currently available in 27 countries and growing. Users can access GTHE via Care.Wallet, downloadable at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
