The newly inaugurated Mumbai Public school at Dindoshi, Goregaon ( East ) is all set to impart CBSE, ICSE board curriculum to students free of cost. Municipal Schools in Mumbai are upgrading infrastructure wise, curriculum wise, tying up with CBSE, ICSE to ensure students get quality & equality in education, free of cost.

One such Mumbai Public school ( Dindoshi Vasahat School no.1, Malad East , P/N Ward ) was inaugurated on 25th July 2021 by Aaditya Thackeray ( State Environment and Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister  ). In his inaugural speech Mr. Thackeray promised to elevate these Mumbai public schools as per England's Grammar schools. He stressed upon modernizing  the Mumbai Municipal schools with catalyst education streams such as CBSE, ICSE and future collaboration with Cambridge University.

Total campus area of this Dindoshi - ward no. 41 BMC school is 3282 Sq. Mt. with Ground + Five Floors , comprising 42 class rooms ( including 1 Balwadi and 5 Virtual Classrooms ) , 2 Science Labs , 3 Computer labs , 2 Libraries , Internet facility , 12 sets of Toilets ( W.C.  + Urinals +  Wash Basins ) ,  Headmaster's room , Staff room , Store room , Multi purpose Hall , Green room , Medical check up room , Lift , Smoke detectors and Equipped Playground. In all 1600 students are studying here. 

M.P. Gajanan Kirtikar conceptualized this Municipal school project . Local M.L.A. , Shivsena Chief Whip & Ex. Mayor Sunil Prabhu transformed this concept school, right from renovation , budget provision to interior decoration with earnest effort. Ex. Corporator Sadashiv Patil kept the momentum going while the present Corporator ward no. 41, Tulshiram Shinde finalized the over all project with immense zeal.

Mumbai Public school was inaugurated in the auspicious presence of Mumbai Congress Chief-MLA Bhai Jagtap, MP  Gajanan Kirtikar , MLA Sunil Prabhu , Deputy Mayor Ad. Suhas Wadkar , Corporator Sadhana Mane, Education Committee Chairperson - Sandhya Vipul Doshi , Ward committee Chairperson - Sangita Sutar , Market-Garden committee President -Pratima Khopade , Tulshiram Shinde( Corporator-Ward 41 )

Suburban Guardian Minister Aaditya Thackeray elaborated that the government is eager to provide quality education to state's students from KG to PG. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray initiated the modernization of the BMC schools since 2013 with virtual classrooms for providing high-quality education in 90 schools. Keeping up with the process of modernization BMC schools provided tablets to students in the year 2016-2017. Since then all new BMC schools are fully equipped with Science laboratories, play grounds, canteens, Computer labs, washrooms etc.

MLA Bhai Jagtap praised the MVA government and especially CM Uddhav Thackeray for embarking upon the new era in education field. He lauded the BMC schools for imparting the superior quality education and launching 24 Public Schools.
