In the largest collection of employee experiences in Asia, over 3.3 million employees from across 16 countries in Asia and the Middle East were surveyed to determine the Best WorkplacesTM in the region.

This recognition is based on confidential survey data assessing employee experiences of trust, innovation, company values and leadership. Interestingly, organizations from India constitute 21% of the Best Workplaces in Asia 2021, making it the country with the highest representation on the list.

Commenting on this accomplishment, Shailesh Singh, Senior Director and Chief People Officer, Max Life said, “We are thrilled and proud to be a part of the prestigious list, and would like to dedicate this to our employees. As the only Indian life insurance company across Asia, the achievement is even more special for us and compliments our consistent efforts to build a best in class workplace. With many more milestones to go, I am excited what the future holds with the dedication of our people, the strength of our values and most importantly, with our incredible, winning culture.”

The accomplishment in a particularly difficult year on the back of Covid-19, is a testimony to Max Life’s value-driven culture and ‘People First’ practices around employee engagement and talent development that have formed the bedrock of sustained business success. Employee wellness remained a key focus area at Max Life, where physical and mental wellbeing of the people continues to be of utmost priority during the pandemic. Building upon harmony and togetherness as essential factors of building a future ready-workforce, Max Life invested meaningfully in nurturing its culture of care during a largely remote period.

The companies recognized amongst the Best Workplaces in AsiaTM have scored 10% better than the organizations listed amongst the concurrent national lists.
