13^th August 2020, Mumbai: Dr. Binay Singh, The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Singh Marine Management Ltd., Founder and MD of BS Global Seafarer Recruitment ltd. (GSR- New Era in Shipping), Course director for Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, London and renowned author and recognised Global expert in growing the Ukrainian Seafarers launched his latest book “International Guide for Seafarers”. – It is the first book in the history of shipping industry that focuses on guiding owners and managers of ships to carefully evaluate expectations from various nationalities of seafarers. The book is a dedication to the Seafarer’s around the world that aims to motivate. It also resolves various queries that will be helpful for the shipping industry.

The book is an extensive guide that compares and contrasts various groups of seafarers to give an insight into who they are and how they follow orders since the seafarer’s of each country brings a different set of beliefs, cultures, personalities and mannerism. It also focuses on various aspects and traits of seafarers and whether they make good leaders or not.  Seafarers have been the biggest pillars of the shipping industry and handle more than 90% of the goods daily. The guide has been compiled to answers such theories that will be helpful for the shipping Industry.

About Dr. Binay Singh:

Dr. Singh came from India to pursue a degree in Marine Navigation at Odessa State Maritime Academy (OSMA) and found his home in Ukraine. Initially working with some of the manning companies Dr. Singh eventually started Singh Marine Management Ltd. in 2003. He with his team of crewing officers and executives, his company serves over 20 International companies and represents their manning interest in Ukraine. Dr. Singh is not only an Author but also an Entrepreneur and a Public speaker.
