Eurolife Supports Aurangabad Authorities with Rs. 1.15 crore worth of hand sanitizers for free distributionLarge conglomerates in the country and abroad are bolstering their fight against the biggest onslaught that any of us has ever faced in our lifetime, the scourge of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Some of them are ramping up production of face masks as health workers struggle to get the right equipment, providing free fuel to emergency vehicles carrying COVID-19 patients, distributing free meals in various cities and even building India’s first COVID-19 hospital in Maharashtra as part of their corporate social responsibility.

Mumbai-based Eurolife Healthcare Pvt. It has now become the responsibility of each and every citizen of the country to create awareness and help control the spread of this deadly infectious disease to save the lives of their fellow countrymen
In its endeavour to help prevent the spread of this infectious disease, Eurolife Healthcare today came forward to distribute a consignment worth Rs 1.15 crore of its hand sanitizers, Germkill, to those in need of it in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Eurolife obtained permission from the district collectorate to distribute for free the hand sanitizers to hospitals and other public service offices to equip them in their fight against the dreaded coronavirus.

This approval was sought from Mr. Uday Chaudhry, District Collector, Aurangabad, who under his aegis, asked the company officials to meet deputy collector Ms. Rita Metrawar. She asked them to deliver the goods to the colletorate’s office from where they would re-distribute the consignment of sanitizers to public offices and buildings, such as hospitals, medical colleges, police stations, courts and health workers — or anyone else in dire need of the same.
