RWITC brings the Maharashtra Gujarat & Goa Area Trophy & The Hindustan Times Palate Fest Oaks


RWITC brings two very exciting races The Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area Trophy on Friday, 18th January & The Hindustan Times Palate Fest Indian Oaks (Gr.1) on Sunday, 20th January.

The army will put on a special performance to celebrate the Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa area on Friday with a display of weapons and equipment, Indian form of martial arts, new fighting techniques, a marching band and much more.

On Sunday, the Hindustan Times Palate will make its debut in Mumbai at the HT Palate Indian Oaks (Gr.1). Introduced to India back in 1943, The Indian Oaks is run only by 4 year old thoroughbred fillies. In 1975, Lady Madonna set the largest winning margin. It’d be interesting to see if the fillies this year and break her record.

To celebrate Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa area trophy at the RWITC, the army will be putting up special performances. There will be a display of various weapons and equipment. The army will also demonstrate various Indian martial arts exercises with the use of traditional weapons. The army band will delight the audience with a spectacular performance as well.

The Hindustan Times Palate makes its debut in Mumbai at the HT Palate Indian Oaks (Gr.1). Hindustan Times Palate Fest has curated an extremely compelling experience especially for the people of Mumbai.  HT Palate Fest will offer a tantalizing range of food including Thai, Italian, Continental, Chinese, American, French and Indian from leading names in the culinary space. Introduced to India back in 1943, The Indian Oaks is run only by 4 year old thoroughbred fillies. The inaugural running of this race was won by Same Again. In the year 1965, Rose Royal won the Indian Fillies Triple Crown i.e. 1000 Guineas, Oaks and The Derby and 10 years later, Lady Madonna set the largest winning margin.
