India’s longest running children exhibition “Kidz World” was held at the Nehru center. Famous TV actress Daljit Kaur was present at the exhibition to spectator the event. The expo was packed with creative activities and events for kids, such as magic show, meet-and greet session with cartoon characters, such as Choota Bheem and Chutki. Some other dignitaries like Mr. Ritesh who was the brainchild behind the event, Wellness guru Mickey Mehta, Shilpa Kamdar and Reshmaa Ajbani were also present at the event.
With an aim to inspire children through a creative and playful learning experience, the exhibition showcased fun based activities for children to play, explore and learn. This exhibition helped children learn through responsive and reciprocal relationship with people, places, and things. Here children learned about physical development. They understood the importance of health, hygiene and nature.
There was almost a setup of 100 stalls and activities available for the age group of 0-14 years. Children visiting the expo had the opportunity to meet king size dinosaurs, toon friends like TicTac Tail, Mr. Bean. The Festival had attractions like chocolate factory, role-plays by Kidzania, Imagica parade, ROBO carom, ROBO soccer, ROBO dance. Special health, beauty, education, shopping, and activity zones were also set up.
Children explored and learned many new skills. They saw a new world through different creatures, through different innovative games and meet Cartoons characters who taught them caring and sharing.
Freedom to be a child was the general theme of the expo that was celebrated for these two days. It helped parents to understand the importance of childhood and gift childhood back to children and allowed them to blossom in their own way.
Children also had experience of sky diving at We fly, without facing the fear of height, besides playing carom, cricket, soccer and other tele-games. Science demonstrations were also held to explain chemical magic, movie special effects and bubbling potions. The exhibition not only had materialistic gifts but the gift of overall holistic development.
