Sterlite Power Partners with Leading EPC and OEM Players from Power Sector to Execute its Green Energy Corridor Project

Sterlite Power,  a leading global developer in power transmission today announced that it is joining hands  with GE T&D India Ltd, Unitech Power Transmission Ltd. (UPTL), Tata Projects Ltd (TPL) and Associate Power Structures Pvt. Ltd (APSPL). This partnership will implement state of the art OEM & EPC solutions in the execution of its Green Energy Corridor (GEC) project – Lakadia Vadodara Transmission Project Limited (LVTPL). As a part of these partnerships, GE will design, construct, test and commission 765kV GIS substation at Vadodara and 765kV AIS substation at Lakadia in Gujarat. While TPL, APSPL and UPTL will provide the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) related supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 343kms of transmission lines for the project.  Sterlite Power had won this very critical GEC project through tariff-based competitive bidding process last year, which will contribute towards India’s renewable energy...

Paytm aims to contribute Rs 500 crore to PM CARES Fund, seeks contribution from fellow citizens for the cause

To support the fight against COVID-19 virus, India's leading digital payments and financial services platform Paytm is seeking contribution for PM CARES (Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund) on the Paytm app. The company is aiming to contribute Rs 500 crore to the PM-CARES fund. For every contribution or any other payment made on Paytm using the wallet, UPI and Paytm Bank debit card, the company will contribute an extra upto Rs 10. Madhur Deora, President - Paytm said , “We are honoured to do our duty to aid the government in all the relief measures being taken to fight the Corona pandemic. We hope our users wholeheartedly donate to PM CARES fund and help save lives. We will also contribute up to Rs 10 for every payment transaction using the Paytm app and instruments.
