Vashi marks M|O|C Cancer Care’s 10th cancer centre in Mumbai MMR, aiming to deliver advanced cancer care with utmost safety while easing travel and cost burden for families

Mumbai, May 3, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to making quality oncology care more accessible, M|O|C Cancer Care & Research Centre today announced the launch of its newest facility—M|O|C Cancer Care Vashi, marking a significant milestone in simplifying the patient journey. With this addition, M|O|C now operates its 10th centre in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and 27th centre across India.

The new facility was inaugurated by Hon. Shri Ganeshji Naik, Forest Minister, Maharashtra & Guardian Minister, Palghar, in the presence of distinguished guests including Mrs. Sujata Suraj Patil, Mayor, Navi Mumbai; Former Member of Parliament from Thane Lok Sabha Constituency and the first Mayor of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Dr. Sanjeev Ganeshji Naik; Mr. Sandeep Naik, Former MLA, Airoli; Mr. Dasrath Bhagat, Vice Mayor, Navi Mumbai; and Mr. Sagar Naik, Leader of House, NMMC.

The launch comes at a critical time as India’s cancer burden continues to rise steadily. According to national estimates, the country is expected to record over 15 lakh new cancer cases in 2026, with incidence increasing year-on-year due to ageing populations, lifestyle changes, and improved diagnosis rates. Maharashtra remains among the states with one of the highest cancer caseloads, underlining the urgent need for decentralised and dependable cancer treatment infrastructure.

Strategically located in Navi Mumbai, M|O|C Cancer Care Vashi will offer integrated oncology services including consultations by experienced oncologists and personalised treatment planning across chemotherapy as well as advanced cancer therapies such as Targeted Therapy, Immunotherapy, Cellular Therapy, and Bone Marrow Transplant support. The centre will also provide supportive and palliative cancer care, wellness support, and home care services—enabling patients and their families to access comprehensive treatment closer to home.
