Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) supports the Truckers Association on their agitation for random e-challans

Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) is fully supporting the Truckers Association on their agitation for random e-challans.

 

On any pretext, photographs are taken and heavy fines are levied, it seems there is target.

 

By having heavy fines the violations have not gone down, the Government is not able to recover the money, as there is no grievance being heard and wiaa urges the authorities to contact “LOK ADALAT” every weekend and the motorists / truckers be heard.

 

WIAA represents 80000 private car owners has received many complaints as there is no grievance cell where the vehicle owner can go and plead his case.

 

WIAA requests the Hon’ble Transport Minister to have a grievance cell office in every RTO, so that complaints could be heard.

 

The vehicle owners are charged more than 40% price of the Car as Tax and also there is a heavy tax of more than 40% in the fuel inspite of which no relief is give to owners.

 

There is no underground or multistoreyed car parks, hospitals and other places which WIAA requests to build it on a priority basis.
