Historic Milestone in Jain Spiritual History: 108 Dikshas Completed Within Two Years

Mumbai, January 18, 2026: In a historic and unprecedented achievement in Jain spiritual history, Shri Akhil Bharatvarshiya Sadhumargi Jain Sangh has successfully fulfilled a monumental spiritual resolve with the completion of 108 Dikshas within a span of just two years.

 

The historic call was given in October 2023 by Acharya Shri 1008 Ramlal Ji Maharaj Sa, who urged the Jain community and the ascetic order to collectively work towards achieving 100+ Dikshas within two years. Responding to this profound spiritual vision, revered saints and sadhvis of the Sadhumargi Jain tradition dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to this mission.

 

By December 2025, the resolve was not only met but exceeded, with 108 Dikshas successfully completed, marking a landmark moment in Jain religious history. This achievement is especially significant as it is the first time in the history of the Sthanakwasi Jain tradition that such a large number of Dikshas were pre-announced and successfully completed within a clearly defined and short timeframe.
