Kriti Sanon Spills on Katrina Kaif’s Punjabi Playlist, Vicky Kaushal Reveals Her Cute Punjabi Song Mix-up on Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle
The eighth episode of Prime Video's Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle had everything we’d want: emotion, laughter, and just the right dose of mischief. Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon joined Kajol and Twinkle for an evening that moved effortlessly between heartfelt confessions and hilarious revelations, all in Two Much style. From Vicky’s reflections on family, faith, and fame to Kriti’s refreshingly honest take on success, marriage, and self-worth, the episode had it all.
Vicky got emotional recalling his parents’ reaction to his success and their enduring sense of gratitude. He shared, “What I hear from my mom and dad is that they’re in a constant sense of immense gratitude, because they always keep saying that… And the most random smallest thing, which probably mere liye thodi se aam hogayi hai (It probably has me very used to it), but they will just have a moment and say, ‘Kaha socha tha yeh hoga’ (Never had we imagined that such a thing would happen).” He remembered the words that have stayed with him, saying, “They said a very beautiful thing to me. ‘Ek baat yaad rakhna, no matter how justified you feel, God has not given you the right to feel egoistic now. That right has been taken away from you, keeping in mind what our journey has been as a family. Where we started off, where you were born, where you are now. And constantly, God is telling you that the universe loves you with the kind of opportunities you’re getting and the kind of love you are getting.”
Kriti Sanon looked back at her Bollywood journey with gratitude and humour, recalling how she found her footing as an outsider, “I got a very warm welcome with my first film. Of course, the struggle to get the film, not being from the film family. But I feel like, today, I was meant to be here because the journey that I’ve taken, the route that it’s come from, whether it’s engineering or whatever, all the films that have happened, not happened in life, I think have brought me here, and I’m very, very grateful for it.” Kriti lightened the moment with a hilarious anecdote about house-hunting, adding, “When I was trying to buy a house, when I was looking for a house, she was laughing and she was like, ‘Jab hum Delhi mein Patparganj mein they aur ek ghar khareedna tha (When we were in Delhi in Patparganj and we wanted to buy a house), tab bhi hume jo ghar chahiye tha, utne paise nahi they. (We didn’t have enough money to buy that house). Aur aaj bhi tujhe jo ghar chaiye utte paise nahi hai.’ (Today too, for the house that you want to buy, you don’t have enough money.)”
Kriti spoke about how Bollywood’s view of married women’s career is slowly but surely changing “I don’t think it’s a halt anymore. Whether it’s Alia, whether it’s Kiara or… Bebo has been doing so many amazing films. So many of them are doing amazing work even after marriage, but yeah, I do feel like there is a conversation that starts in the industry sometimes, Ki arey yaar uski toh shadi hogayi hai, itni young role play nahi kar sakti (No, she’s married. She can’t play such a young role.) Which doesn’t happen for a guy. And it’s sad because I feel like the people I’m dealing with, I hope they’re progressive. I’m glad women are, kind of, making their own path and still going strong.”
Vicky revealed a sweet anecdote about Katrina’s attempt to sing a Punjabi song , “She very cutely made a video of singing a song in Punjabi. She sang that song and she was like, ‘I’m going to sing this song’. She thought it was a romantic song. And that song had such a gangster vibe.” Adding to the laughter, Kriti revealed how Katrina’s music taste had taken a fun Punjabi turn after she started dating Vicky, saying, “We used to work out in the same gym, me and Katrina. And when she started dating you (Vicky), suddenly, her playlist changed. Suddenly, her playlist had Punjabi music, and I looked at her and said, ‘This is your playlist?!’ Because those were definitely not the songs she was listening to before!”
With Vicky’s grounded reflections, Kriti’s unfiltered charm, and Kajol and Twinkle steering the conversation with their trademark spark, the eighth episode of Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle captured everything audiences love about the show; it's honest, spontaneous, and thoroughly entertaining.
