56th Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 05th March 2025 at 11.30 Hrs

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the         56th Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on            05th March 2025 at 11.30 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001.


Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat. 


            Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters, and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat.  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer/ Secretary, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai GPO Bldg., 2nd Floor, Mumbai -400 001 on or before 14.02.2025.  The applications received after 14.02.2025 will not be considered in the Pension Adalat.

इस पेंशन अदालत में डाक विभाग से सेवानिवृत्त/सेवाकाल में मृत हुए महाराष्ट्र और गोवा राज्य के लोगों की पेंशन हितलाभों संबंधी ऐसी शिकायतों के लिया किया जाएगा जिनका तीन माह के भीतर निपटारा नहीं हुआ है।

पेंशन अदालत में विशुद्ध रूप से कानूनी बिंदुओं जैसे कि उत्तराधिकार, कल्पित पेंशन, टीबीओपी/एमएसीपी पदोन्नति, वेतन में वृद्धि एवं नीतिगत मसलों से जुड़े अनुशासनिक मामलों वाली शिकायतों,तथा डी.पी.सी की समीक्षा के लिए लंबित मामलोंपर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। पेंशनभोगी नीचे दिए गए प्रपत्र में अपनी शिकायतें तीन प्रतियोंमें  लेखा अधिकारी/ सचिव, पेंशन अदालत, मुख्य पोस्टमास्टर जनरल का कार्यालय, महाराष्ट्र सर्किल, दूसरी मंजिल, जीपीओ भवन, मुंबई – 400 001 को 14.02.2025 को या इससे पूर्व वैयक्तिक रुप से (थोक में  या  दूसरों की ओर से नहीं) भेज सकते हैं। 14.02.2025 के पश्चात प्राप्त आवेदनों पर पेंशन अदालत में विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।

Rise and Fall

Synopsis: Rise and Fall is an international show format, brought to India for the first time by Amazon MX Player. Diverse contestants representing all sections of society gather in an iconic skyscraper. ​They are split into two groups: Rulers and Workers. ISPL season 2: Majhi Mumbai begin campaign with 8-wicket win over Tiigers of Kolkata

Thane, January 26, 2025: The second season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) got off to a flying start with an exhilarating opening ceremony featuring the likes of Bollywood diva Jacqueline Fernandez and the popular comic duo of Krushna and Kiku, before the on-field action witnessed a clinical Majhi Mumbai registering a convincing eight-wicket victory over Tiigers of Kolkata at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium here on Sunday.


In a showdown between the finalists of the inaugural season, Majhi Mumbai came up with a disciplined show with the ball to first restrict Tiigers of Kolkata for 68/8 before getting over the line with a couple of overs to spare.


Electing to bowl, the Mumbai outfit put up with a disciplined effort, with Ankur Singh triggering a top order collapse to dismiss Fardeen Kazi, Thomas Dias and Navaz Khan and reduce Kolkata to 22/3, before Rajendra Singh rocked the opposition with two more wickets.


The Mumbai bowlers took full advantage of the Tape Ball overs (3rd and 5th), with Rajat Mundhe leaking just five runs from his two overs. With pressure mounting on Kolkata, the men in Red & Green opted to take the 50-50 over on the 7th over, but in an anti-climax, they lost two wickets, including skipper Moyoddin Alimuddin Shaikh (15), and eventually got only a single after managing three runs from it. Towards the end, Sarfaraz Khan (11) and Bhavesh Pawar (16) hit a couple of lusty blows to propel Kolkata to 68 even as the batting side lost three wickets on the final over of their innings.


In response, Majhi Mumbai lost opener Mohammed Nadeem on the third ball of the first over, but Rajat Mundhe and Karan More (26 not) stabilised the innings, and more importantly survived the Tape Ball over (3rd) from Vivek Mohanan. During the strategic time-out, Mumbai, comfortably placed at 31/1, picked the 8th over for the 50-50 challenge.


After the breather, Rajat picked Shivam Kumar for a boundary but perished the next ball, leaving the job for Karan and new man Amit Naik (21 not out). With Mumbai needing 22 off 18 at the start of the 50-50 over, Karan deposited Imroz Khan for a couple of boundaries off the first two deliveries, before Amit took the bowler to the cleaners twice consecutively to help his side romp home by 8 wickets. 

 

Earlier, the grand opening ceremony of ISPL Season 2 witnessed a laughter riot as popular comedy artists Krushna and Kiku brought the house down in their iconic roles of Pushpa and Srivalli. Their hilarious act set the perfect tone for an exciting season ahead. Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez added glamour to the opening ceremony with her sizzling performance. 


The crowd at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium reserved louder cheers for legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar, who made his way into the ground amid a thunderous applause, to wish the players. 


“Be fearless but don’t be careless,” came Sachin’s message for the players.


Highlighting on the changes this season, Tendulkar, who also is one of the ISPL core committee members, said, “This season ISPL & SG co-created the reverse swing ball, which will make life a little difficult for the batters. With that, strategy will come into play. All the teams have got a fair idea about the usage of the tape ball during training sessions in the build-up to the tournament.


During the opening ceremony, Sachin, along with the other members of the core committee Ashish Shelar, Minal Amol Kale, Suraj Samat, also paid tributes to former Mumbai Cricket Association president, who passed away last year. The core committee also presented a cheque worth Rs 3 lakh as part of Children Education Scholarship to Muktangan Foundation.

The Mahapex 2025 philatelic exhibition and awards ceremony, hosted by the Department of Posts, India, takes place over the course of a full day on January 25, 2025 at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai. 

During the First Half, the event opens with the arrival and welcoming of guests. This is followed by a welcome address to the guests, and then a welcome address delivered by the Shri Abhijeet Bansode Director of Postal Services (HQ) for the Maharashtra Circle.

The program then transitions into a series of philatelic item releases and unveilings. There is the "Release of Mahapex 2025 Logo Cancellation in Red Colour", followed by the "Release of Permanent pictorial cancellation - Giant Meter wave Radio Telescope, Khodad Pune". Additional philatelic releases include the "Release of Special Cover - Monorail carried cover"  and the "Release of Special Cover on Ferry carried cover".

A key moment during the closing ceremony was the release of a special cover on classical language/Marathi(also known as Abhijaat Marathi Bhasa). This cover served as a tribute to the rich linguistic diversity of the region and the importance of preserving traditional forms of expression.

Mumbai, January 24, 2025: Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care Limited, a trusted brand in the eye care services industry and according to the CRISIL MI&A Report is India’s largest eye care service chain by revenue from operations for FY2024, has fixed the price band of ₹382/- to ₹402/- per Equity Share of face value ₹1/- each. 


The Initial Public Offering (“IPO” or “Offer”) of the Company will open on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, for subscription and close on Friday, January 31, 2025. Investors can bid for a minimum of 35 Equity Shares and in multiples of 35 Equity Shares thereafter. The issue has an employee reservation portion of up to 1,579,399 equity shares and shareholders reservation of up to 1,129,574 equity shares.


The IPO is a mix of fresh issue of up to Rs 300 crore and an offer of sale up to 67,842,284 equity shares by Promoters, Investors, and Other Selling Shareholders. The proceeds from its fresh issuance to the extent of Rs 195 crore will be utilized for repayment/ prepayment in part or full of certain of its borrowings; and the balance proceeds will be utilized for general corporate purposes and unidentified inorganic acquisitions.

Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care Limited’s Initial Public Offering to open on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, price band set at ₹382/- to ₹402/- per Equity Share


Mumbai, January 24,Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care Limited, a trusted brand in the eye care services industry and according to the CRISIL MI&A Report is India’s largest eye care service chain by revenue from operations for FY2024, has fixed the price band of ₹382/- to ₹402/- per Equity Share of face value ₹1/- each. 


The Initial Public Offering (“IPO” or “Offer”) of the Company will open on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, for subscription and close on Friday, January 31, 2025. Investors can bid for a minimum of 35 Equity Shares and in multiples of 35 Equity Shares thereafter. The issue has an employee reservation portion of up to 1,579,399 equity shares and shareholders reservation of up to 1,129,574 equity shares.


The IPO is a mix of fresh issue of up to Rs 300 crore and an offer of sale up to 67,842,284 equity shares by Promoters, Investors, and Other Selling Shareholders. The proceeds from its fresh issuance to the extent of Rs 195 crore will be utilized for repayment/ prepayment in part or full of certain of its borrowings; and the balance proceeds will be utilized for general corporate purposes and unidentified inorganic acquisitions.


Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care, provides end-to-end comprehensive eye care services, including cataract, refractive and other surgeries; consultations, diagnoses and non-surgical treatments; and sells opticals, contact lenses and accessories, and eye care related pharmaceutical products through its network of 209 Facilities as of September 30, 2024. According to a CRISIL MI&A Report cited in its red herring prospectus, the company held about 25% of the total eye care service chain market in India as of FY2024. 


As of September 30, 2024, the Company operates 193 facilities in India across 117 metro and non-metro cities spanning 14 states and four union territories, along with 16 facilities spread across nine countries in Africa. The Company operates through a hub-and-spoke and asset light operating model. According to the CRISIL MI&A Report, the Company has a diversified presence, with 70 facilities located in Tier-I cities and 123 facilities in other cities across India.


Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care, under the aegis of its Chairman, Dr. Amar Agarwal, who has over 35 years of clinical experience in the eye care services industry, has pioneered multiple surgical innovations in ophthalmology and has published several papers in reputed scientific journals globally. Some key surgical capabilities of Dr. Agarwal’s Health Care includes intraocular lens procedures, cornea transplantation, pinhole pupilloplasty, single pass four-throw pupilloplasty and LASIK surgeries. 


Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Morgan Stanley India Company Private Limited, Jefferies India Private Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited are the book-running lead managers, and KFin Technologies Limited is the registrar of the issue.


The Issue is being made through the book-building process, wherein not more than 50% of the issue shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to qualified institutional buyers, not less than 15% and 35% of the offer shall be available for allocation to non-institutional investors, and retail individual bidders respectively.

Vikram Sakhuja, Group CEO of Madison Media & OOH, Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award by AAAI

Mumbai, 14th January 2025: Madison Media, a unit of Madison World, is delighted to announce that Vikram Sakhuja, Group CEO of Madison Media & OOH, has been honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI). This honour recognizes his outstanding contributions to the advertising industry and his remarkable leadership in transforming the media and out-of-home (OOH) sectors.

With over 38 years of experience in marketing, media, and advertising, Vikram has made significant contributions to the industry. Prior to joining Madison World, he held prominent leadership roles, including Global CEO at Maxus Worldwide, Global Strategy Development Officer at GroupM, CEO of GroupM South Asia, and CEO of Mindshare South Asia. GEF Capital Partners backed EPack Prefab Technologies files DRHP for IPO

GEF Capital Partners backed EPack Prefab Technologies has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the capital markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise funds through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).


The IPO, with a face value of Rs 2, consists of fresh issues of shares up to Rs 300 crore and an offer-for-sale of up to 10 million equity shares by Promoter Group and Selling Shareholders. 


Between fiscal 2022 and Fiscal 2024, among its evaluated peers, EPack Prefab Technologies registered the second-highest CAGR in operating profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes (OPBDIT) at 56.45%. In FY24, the company reported the second-highest return on equity (RoE) at 29.12% and return on capital employed (RoCE) at 28.16%. It is also the third-largest producer in the pre-engineered steel building (PEB) industry. Furthermore, the EPS Packaging Business, EPACK commanded an 8% market share in India during FY24, according to a CRISIL Report mentioned in the DRHP.


The company, in consultation with the BRLMS, may consider an issue of specified securities aggregating up to Rs 60 crore as pre-IPO placement. If the pre-IPO placement is completed, the amount raised under the pre-IPO placement will be reduced from the fresh issue.


The proceeds from the fresh issue to the extent of Rs. 101.62 crores for financing the capital expenditure requirements for setting up a new manufacturing facility at Ghiloth Industrial Area, Shahjahanpur, Alwar in Rajasthan for manufacturing of continuous Sandwich Insulated Panels and pre-engineered steel building (“Project”); Rs 58.10 crore for financing the capital expenditure towards expansion of existing manufacturing facility at Mambattu (Unit 4) in Andhra Pradesh for increasing the pre-engineered steel building capacity; Rs 70 crore for repayment and/or pre-payment, in full or part, of certain borrowings availed by the Company; and general corporate purposes.


The Offer is being made through the book-building process, wherein not more than 50% of the net offer is allocated to qualified institutional buyers, and not less than 15% and 35% of the net offer is assigned to non-institutional and retail individual bidders respectively.


Incorporated in 1999, EPack Prefab Technologies has a legacy spanning over 25 years and operates across two distinct business verticals, Pre-Fab Business and EPS Packaging Business. The company sells its products under the brand names ‘EPACK PREFAB’ for its Pre-Fab Business and ‘EPACK PACKAGING’ for its EPS Packaging Business. It has received a Certificate of Excellence from the Golden Book of World Records for achieving the “fastest erection of a pre-engineered factory building” at Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh.


The Pre-Fab Business provides end-to-end turnkey solutions that encompass designing, manufacturing, installation, and erection of pre-engineered steel buildings, pre-fabricated structures, and their components, catering to both domestic and international markets. The EPS Packaging Business focuses on manufacturing expanded polystyrene sheets and blocks, including EPS Block Molded and EPS Shape Molded products, serving industries such as construction, packaging, and consumer goods within India. 


The company’s promoters have a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, including EPack Durable Limited and EPack Petrochem Solutions Private Limited. Within its Pre-Fab Business, the company offers a comprehensive range of solutions, including pre-engineered steel buildings, modular structures, light gauge steel frames (LGSF), Sandwich Insulated Panels, and standard modular solutions. Turnkey projects include the complete design, engineering, manufacturing, transportation, installation, and erection of pre-fabricated structures at customer sites.


As of December 31, 2024, EPack Prefab Technologies operates three manufacturing facilities in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Ghiloth (Rajasthan), and Mambattu (Andhra Pradesh), with a combined installed capacity of 133,924 MTPA for pre-engineered products and 510,000 square meters for Sandwich Insulated Panels. The company also operates three design centers located in Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Hyderabad (Telangana), and Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh).


In its EPS Packaging Business, EPack offers a diverse range of lightweight, impact-resistant, and insulating products, such as EPS sheets, packaging boxes for electronic goods, and hand-molded packaging boxes. As of December 31, 2024, the company has an EPS manufacturing capacity of 8,400 MTPA. These products have applications across industries like construction, packaging, and consumer durables. In FY24, EPack’s EPS Packaging Business held an 8% market share in India, as per the CRISIL Report.


As of September 30, 2024, EPack Prefab Technologies reported the net order book of its pre-fab business was ₹658.54 crore and the pending order book stood at Rs 654.70 crore.


EPack Prefab Technologies Limited's revenue from operations increased by 37.78% from ₹656.76 crore in Fiscal 2023 to ₹904.90 crore in Fiscal 2024. Restated Profit for the year increased from ₹23.97 crore in Fiscal 2023 to ₹42.96 crore in Fiscal 2024.


For the six months ended September 30, 2024, revenue from operations stood at Rs.536.99 crore, and Profit after tax stood at Rs 27.68 crore.


The Company has made a remarkable financial performance and growth metrics over the last three fiscal years, among its peers. Between FY22 and FY24, the company recorded the fastest growth in revenue from operations, achieving a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 41.79%. Its Pre-Fab Business performed even better, with a CAGR of 55.48% during the same period. This outpaced the pre-engineered steel buildings industry, which grew at a CAGR of ~8.0% from ₹13,000 crore in FY19 to ₹19,500 crore in FY24 and is projected to grow by ~8% to ₹21,000 crore in FY25.


Monarch Networth Capital Limited, and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited are the book-running lead managers and KFin Technologies Limited is the registrar of the issue. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.

Denta Water and Infra Solutions IPO subscribed 17.07 times on Day 1 led by NII and Retail

The Initial Public Offering of Denta Water and Infra Solutions was subscribed 17.07 times on the first day of bidding.

The issue received bids of 8,96,36,900 shares against the offered 52,50,000 equity shares, at a price band of ₹279-294, according to the data available on the stock exchanges.

Non-Institutional Investors Portion and Retail Portion were subscribed 36.23 times and 17.67 times respectively, whereas Qualified Institutional Buyer Portion was subscribed 1.67 times. The issue kicked off for subscription on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, and will close on Friday, January 24, 2025.

A day before the opening of the issue, Denta Water and Infra Solutions raised Rs 66.15 crores from anchor investors. The company is valued at an FY24 P/E multiple of 9.5x to 16.2x and an EV/EBITDA multiple of 9.8x at the upper price band of ₹294, which is competitive compared to peers trading at 30-35x P/E for FY25. Over FY22-FY24, the company achieved a strong CAGR of 41.3% in revenue, 23.6% in EBITDA, and 24.8% in PAT, while maintaining industry-leading EBITDA margins of 33-43%.

The inaugural day of Mahapex-2025 will celebrate Maharashtra's rich and diverse history.

 The day will be marked by exhibits, discussions, and presentations that spotlight the state's historical landmarks, cultural evolution, and the contributions of its famous kings, saints, and reformers. The event aims to preserve and promote understanding of Maharashtra's ancient traditions, historical milestones, and its journey toward modernity

     The inaugural day of Mahapex 2025 marked a momentous occasion in the philatelic history of Maharashtra, commencing with a warm welcome address by Shri Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General of Maharashtra and Goa Circle. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Hon'ble Governor Shri C P Radhakrishnan, Shri Vijay Kalantri, Chairman of World Trade Centre Mumbai, Shri Manik Shah, Director of Manik Shah Group, and Smt.
