From 2009 onwards, it expanded its activities to include vehicle financing and currently operates across 65 locations in five states: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. The company primarily serves salaried and self-employed individuals.

The majority of Manba Finance's loan portfolio, approximately 99%, consists of new vehicle loans, with an average ticket size of around ₹0.80 lakhs. It specializes in providing financial solutions with quick turnaround times for loan approval and disbursement. The company has developed enduring relationships with over 850 dealers, including more than 60 EV dealers, across its operational states.

According to a CRISIL report, Manba Finance held the highest share of two-wheeler loans at 96% as a percentage of AUM at the end of fiscal 2023. It also had the highest AUM per branch at Rs 26.40 crore and experienced the fastest branch growth rate with a CAGR of 31%. In fiscal 2023, it ranked third in terms of yields and fourth in net interest margins (NIMs), with the third-highest Return on Assets (RoA) at 2.2% and the third-lowest credit cost of 0.7%. Regarding asset quality, Manba Finance ranked among the top four financiers, with a Gross Non-Performing Asset (GNPA) ratio of 3.7% in fiscal 2023.

The Thane-based NBFC tailors its offerings to different customer segments and crafts bespoke schemes to attract them. The company's robust underwriting process has enabled it to manage defaults and maintain a healthy asset quality.

Manba Finance operates with a centralized credit team that remotely reviews loan applications and makes credit decisions based on customer credit data. Over 85% of loans are sanctioned on the same day as the application, relying on factors such as the customer's cash flows, CIBIL score, and collateral. An in-house collection team focuses on recovering monthly installments from customers.

With a presence in urban, semi-urban, and metropolitan areas across 65 locations, Manba Finance serves surrounding rural regions through 28 branches as of January 31, 2024, spanning across five states.

Manba Finance's Assets Under Management (AUM) increased from ₹530.11 crore in fiscal 2021 to ₹733.73 crore by the end of the six-month period ending September 30, 2023, with a CAGR of 13.89%, primarily attributed to volume expansion, consistent average ticket size, and steady yields.

According to a CRISIL report, rural income growth significantly influences two-wheeler demand, with motorcycles constituting about 63% of overall two-wheeler volumes and scooters accounting for approximately 30%. The government's emphasis on financial inclusion, coupled with increasing financial awareness and smartphone penetration, is expected to drive credit services in rural areas. Furthermore, the utilization of alternative data for customer underwriting will aid financiers in serving the informal sectors of society. Urban areas primarily drive scooter demand, which witnessed a faster recovery than the motorcycle segment in fiscal 2023, following the reopening of offices and educational institutions. Between fiscal 2015 and 2020, two-wheeler loan disbursements grew by 19% CAGR, driven by factors such as rising vehicle prices, a shift in consumer preferences towards premium segments, increased loan-to-value ratios, and higher finance penetration.

Manba Finance clocked a profit of Rs 16.58 crore in the financial year FY23, up 70.22% from Rs 9.74 crore in the previous year. Revenue during the year FY23 increased significantly to Rs 133.32 crore from Rs 106.59 crore in the previous year, an increase of 25.07%, primarily due to an increase in interest income.

For the six months ended September 30, 2023, revenue from operations stood at Rs 88.29 crore, and profit after tax stood at Rs 16.80 crore.

Hem Securities Limited is the sole lead manager, and Link Intime India Private Limited is the registrar of the issue.

SUJATA TAWDEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17867952379995572648noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5167911089720450793.post-60279374684241591152024-03-14T04:03:00.000-07:002024-03-14T04:03:59.498-07:00Jasprit Bumrah and Kapil Dev Turn Teammates for TATA IPL 2024 on JioCinema

~ First time that India’s first-ever World Cup-winning captain and the world’s most feared pacer are seen together in a commercial film ~

~ The campaign focuses JioCinema’s Connected TV proposition for the TATA IPL 2024 ~

~ TATA IPL 2024 will commence on JioCinema with Chennai Super Kings taking on

Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22 ~

~ Watch the film here ~

Mumbai, March 13, 2024: Shortly after bringing MS Dhoni in a double role for their inaugural TATA IPL 2024 campaign, JioCinema has now presented Kapil Dev and Jasprit Bumrah in two films as part of their new campaign, titled TV Dekho Toh Aise. The latest set of films from JioCinema focus specifically on the Connected TV proposition for viewers that prefer watching TATA IPL on digital as well as a big screen. They also bring out the manifold features of the platform that take fans from a ‘lean-back’ to a ‘lean-forward’ viewing experience with an unprecedented degree of autonomy.

TATA IPL 2024 will commence on JioCinema with the southern derby as MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings face off with Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22, 2024.

The treatment of the films, produced by Chrome Pictures, is banter-filled, as conversations between the two ace cricketers get dotted with tongue-in-cheek remarks at each other, all in good jest. The first film has Bumrah engrossed in watching the TATA IPL on his mobile phone, while Kapil Dev enters the scene and engages him in conversation. Bumrah is seen staking superiority for the way his generation consumes the TATA IPL, until Kapil challenges him, turning on a Connected TV, streaming the same content Bumrah was watching. The second film with the duo takes it a step forward in the same vein, as they discuss the capability of watching the TATA IPL in 4K, with one’s choice of camera angle and key moments.

The latest set of films from JioCinema are guided by India’s clear preference of watching their favourite sports content on Connected TV. All TV sets sold in the country over the past four quarters have been Connected TV’s. Last season, over 125 million people watched the TATA IPL on CTV and this year, about 200 million are expected to do so.

“While there is no doubt that India has gone digital in the way it watches the TATA IPL or any other live sport, Connected TV viewers are a rapidly growing subset within the digital universe,” said a Viacom18 Spokesperson. “Our films with Kapil Dev and Jasprit Bumrah drive home the message that the TATA IPL can not only be enjoyed at convenience with flexibility on a mobile phone but also with high-end features for free on Connected TV. It is the same thrill of the high-octane tournament but on a big screen with the viewer having complete control over the premium viewing experience. The goal of this initiative is to provide women with authentic information about pre-pregnancy care, minimize pregnancy risks, and advocate for regular check-ups before deciding to conceive.

A set of monthly interactive doctor podcasts will be hosted across various platforms, each focusing on a specific topic. This initiative comprises six series, with the first series available in both English and Hindi. Subsequent series will be introduced monthly in four additional regional languages, including Tamil, Bangla, Kannada, and Malayalam. Each series will feature additional elements such as interactive quizzes, polls, and more.

Dr. Rohan Palshetkar, a top Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Mumbai, Professor, D.Y.Patil School of Medicine and Chairperson FOGSI Young Talent Promotion Committee points out "The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently highlighted a worldwide rise in infertility rates from 10% to 17%. Factors contributing to this increase include age, delayed pregnancy, postponed marriage, and a strong emphasis on career pursuits—key life choices with significant impacts on fertility rates. While these decisions are pivotal, they may present challenges to achieving pregnancy. For women attempting to conceive, a basic pre-pregnancy check-up can prove invaluable in identifying and mitigating potential risk factors before they manifest during pregnancy."

Dr. Tanushree Pandey Padgaonkar, Samadhan hospital and Hope IVF centre, Mumbai, states, "In the case of males, even when they harbor concerns about their ejaculation, there is often a reluctance to seek medical advice, possibly due to the fear of attributing blame to the partner's masculinity. Prenatal counselling is infrequently sought in our society, and there exists a hesitancy to openly discuss such matters, even with one's personal doctor."

Dr. Apoorva Pallam Reddy, top Gynecologist from Bangalore, says “ when couples are trying naturally to get pregnant, the Probability of pregnancy is only 5 to 10%, and that is in the best-case scenario. I think, preconception counselling is extremely important, as we have to ensure that everything is all right. We will preempt risks, do some tests if necessary, we will make sure that the couples are not stressed and they get the right amount of information. We will try to do everything possible to help them increase the possibility of pregnancy

About ReadyToBeMom:

Readytobemom is a multimedia pregnancy and women’s health platform. The overlooked aspect of women's health in India, particularly regarding prevention, necessitates urgent attention. Women often neglect regular health check-ups and lack awareness of symptoms until it's too late. Pre-conception counseling is virtually non-existent, and misinformation surrounding pregnancy is rampant. Postpartum depression awareness is also lacking. Our goal is to educate first-time mothers on authentic pregnancy care, reducing pregnancy risks through better compliance with preventive measures. Our approach involves live doctor podcasts addressing crowdsourced questions, comprehensive online resources providing information at every stage of pregnancy, and diverse formats including text, video, audio, and WhatsApp messages. We prioritize multilingual accessibility, starting with Hindi and expanding to other languages. We emphasize recognizing warning signs through quizzes and prompt action with healthcare professionals. Ultimately, we aim to create a doctor-authenticated, 360-degree pregnancy education platform tailored for first-time mothers in India.
SUJATA TAWDEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17867952379995572648noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5167911089720450793.post-22017369160803985352024-03-14T03:37:00.000-07:002024-03-14T03:37:54.287-07:00India, Europe’s EFTA Free Trade Pact to Triple Gem & Jewellery Exports: GJEPC
THE GEM AND JEWELLERY EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL

• The Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between India and EFTA is expected to significantly enhance gem and jewellery exports to Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein from its current USD 335 million to USD 1 billion in the coming years.

• Eliminated customs duties on the entire chapter 71 (Gem and Jewellery products) enabling Indian exporters of G&J to have a duty free access in all the EFTA countries.

• India-EFTA $100 bn FTA Indicates potential and paves the way for more & larger FTAs with European countries

National, 13th March 2024: The Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between India and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) has opened immense opportunities for Indian gem and jewellery (G&J) sector to enhance its exports to the untapped EFTA countries especially to Switzerland. The $100 bn bilateral trade pact has opened up immense opportunities for Indian gem and jewellery manufacturers to broaden their export prospects in the EFTA region. It will also pave the way for new and larger FTAs with many other European countries. I am sure that exports of gem and jewellery products to EFTA group will scale up from US$335 million to at least US$1 billion in the coming times. Since 1998, the GJEPC has been granted autonomous status. The GJEPC is the apex body of the gems & jewellery industry and today around 10,000 members in the sector. With headquarters in Mumbai, GJEPC has Regional Offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat and Jaipur, all of which are major centres for the industry. According to VFS Global, the visa application volume from Mumbai registered a 30% year-on-year growth in 2023. When compared to the pre-pandemic numbers, visa application volumes from Mumbai reached 90% of the 2019 levels.

The demand pattern in Mumbai was in line with the overall growth trend registered in India, which saw a 16% year-on-year in visa applications in 2023. In comparison to the pre-pandemic numbers, visa application volumes from India reached 93% of the 2019 levels.

“We continued to witness robust demand from India and the entire South Asia region in 2022 which led to an extended peak outbound travel season with steady volumes witnessed throughout the year. VFS Global recorded a strong uptick in customised services such as the Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD) service that empowers applicants to complete their entire visa application submission process from the comfort of their homes or any other location of their choice. Through this premium service, customers can submit their applications, enroll for biometrics, and get their passport couriered back to their location of choice.
