SINGAPORE AIRLINES AND SCOOT EXPAND VACCINATED TRAVEL LANE NETWORK TO ALL POINTS ACROSS INDIA

ALL SINGAPORE AIRLINES AND SCOOT FLIGHTS FROM INDIA TO SINGAPORE TO OPERATE AS VACCINATED TRAVEL LANE SERVICES

The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group is pleased to announce that starting from 16 March 2022, it will progressively convert all flights from India to Singapore to Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services. This will provide eligible customers with quarantine-free entry into Singapore from eight points across India . The move follows the Singapore Government’s announcement regarding its decision to expand its VTL network, including from all cities in India. 

While existing daily VTL flights will continue to operate from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai, all of Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) India flights that arrive in Singapore from 16 March 2022 will progressively operate as VTL services. This includes SIA’s flights from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kolkata. Details of SIA’s flight schedules can be found in Annexe A.

Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will also progressively convert its non-VTL services from Amritsar, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Tiruchirappalli, and Visakhapatnam to VTL services. Details of Scoot’s flight schedules can be found here.

Short-term visitors and Singapore work permit holders who wish to travel on the VTL services, need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) prior to their visa application. VTP applications must be made between three and 60 calendar days before the intended date of entry into Singapore. Customers must also ensure that they are eligible to travel under the VTL arrangements before their flight. 

A detailed list of eligibility requirements for customers travelling on VTL services can be found here. Short-term visitors from India may only enter Singapore via the Vaccinated Travel Lane or the Familial Ties Lane.

SIA and Scoot customers with existing bookings will be notified if their flights have been designated as a VTL flight. Those who do not meet the VTL requirements may opt to rebook their flights or request for a refund.

SIA customers may request to rebook or seek a refund of the unused portion of their ticket via our Assistance Request Form. Those who require urgent assistance may also reach out to their local Singapore Airlines reservation office. Scoot customers may submit a refund request through the Manage My Booking page. 

Customers who have made bookings through a travel agency or partner airline are advised to contact them directly for assistance.
