Shemaroo MarathiBana announces its Diwali line up of entertaining movies to enjoy with your family at home

Mumbai, 11^th November 2020: Shemaroo MarathiBana, Marathi Movie channel by India’s leading content powerhouse Shemaroo Entertainment, have announced their Diwali line-up “Manoranjanacha Maha Utsav”. This year since everyone is urged to stay indoors and maintain social distancing, Shemaroo MarathiBana is releasing three back-to-back movies during this Diwali weekend for the families to watch together and celebrate the festival at home. The channel has kicked off November with several new blockbuster movies airing every weekend, with a star cast that includes the likes of Swwapnil Joshi, Mukta Barve, Reema Lagoo, Mohan Joshi etc.

 

Shemaroo MarathiBana has been entertaining Marathi-speaking audiences by offering varied and numerous Marathi movies. The channel believes in celebrating memorable occasions with the whole family and has lined-up movies to mark special days in November, including key occasions like Diwali, Bhai Dooj etc. Get your weekend fix of all genres as the new releases will span across comedy, drama and romance categories, promising something for everyone.

 

On 14^th November 2020, at 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM, the Diwali special movie showcase of the much-loved Mangalashtak Once More, a touching slice of life tale of a married couple that begins to struggle with the loss of romance in their relationship, and how they attempt to rekindle the passion will be aired. The star cast includes Swwapnil Joshi, Mukta Barve and Sai Tamhankar. Followed by, World Television Premiere of VIP Gadhav, a quirky comedy of village simpletons Gangaram and his wife, played by well-known actors Balachandra Kadam & Sheetal Abhirrao, find themselves caught up in a frenzy of attention from media and politicians after their donkey Murali is discovered in an injured state by an animal welfare officer on 15^th November 2020, at 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM. Lastly, Home Sweet Home, a story so simple and relatable, it is bound to be loved by most of the audience. Starring legendary actors like deceased Reema Lagoo, Mohan Joshi and Spruha Joshi, the movie will air on 16^th November, 2020 at 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM.
