संपूर्ण जगाला भारतात व्यवसाय वाढवायचा आहेजग भारताकडे मोठ्या आशेने बघत आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली भारत झपाट्याने प्रगती करत आहे. त्यासाठी कोणतेही क्षेत्र मागे राहता कामा नये. वस्त्रोद्योगात भारताला आणखी प्रगतीची झेप घ्यायची आहे त्यासाठी अधिक प्रयत्नांची गरज केंद्रीय वाणिज्य आणि उद्योगवस्त्रोद्योग तसेच ग्राहक व्यवहार आणि अन्न -नागरी पुरवठा मंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी व्यक्त केली आहे. मुंबईतील व्हीजेटीआय माटुंगा येथील संस्थेच्या शतक महोत्सवी वर्षानिमित्य आयोजित कार्यक्रमात ते बोलत होते.

देशाचा अमृतकाळ सुरू असून आगामी 25 वर्षात देशाला विकासित भारत बनवायचे आहे. देशातल्या युवाशक्तीच्या प्रयत्नांनीच देश पुढे जाऊ शकतो. गुलामीची मानसिकता सोडून नव्या भारतासाठी   प्रयत्न केले पाहिजे  असे गोयल म्हणाले.

व्हीजेटीआय या संस्थेने देखील आता गरज लक्षात घेऊनपायाभूत सुविधां मध्ये आमूलाग्र बदल घडवला पाहिजे. नवीन आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञान आत्मसात करण्याबरोबरच संस्थेच्या पायाभूत सुविथांंचे अद्ययावतीकरण करण्याकडे  व्यवस्थापनाने  लक्ष द्यावे असे आवाहन गोयल आणि केले.

5000 हजार विद्यार्थी संख्या असलेल्या आणि शतकी महोत्सव साजरी करणाऱ्या व्हीजेटीआय संस्थेला गोयल यांनी शुभेच्छा दिल्या. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी स्वातंत्र्यदिनी लाल किल्ल्यावरून केलेल्या भाषणातील पंचप्रण चा उल्लेख करत गोयल यांनी पंचप्रण बरोबरच नारीशक्तीचे सक्षमीकरण आणि भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत करण्याचा संकल्प करण्याचे आवाहनही त्यांनी केले.

यावेळी व्हीजेटीआय चे माजी विद्यार्थी आणि उद्योजक योगेश कुसूमगड आणि डाँनियर समूहाचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक राजेंद्र अग्रवाल यांचा पीयूष गोयल यांच्या हस्ते सत्कार करण्यात आला. तसेच एका अहवालाचे प्रकाशनही करण्यात आले.

या कार्यक्रमाला राज्य वस्त्रोद्योग मंत्रालयाचे सचिव विरेंद्र सिंगएनटीटीएम चे संचालक सौरभ मुखर्जीव्हीजेटीआयचे संचालक डॉ सचिन कोरेटेक्सटाईल इंजिनिअरिंगच्या विभाग प्रमुख डॉ नेहा मेहरा यांच्यासह वस्त्रोद्योग क्षेत्रातील प्रख्यात उद्योगपतीव्यावसायिकतज्ञसंशोधक आणि संस्थेचे विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते.

Bollywood megastar and Kalyan Jewellers’ brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan unveils Mr. T S Kalyanaraman’s autobiography ‘The Golden Touch’


Mumbai, 27th November, 2023: The Golden Touch, autobiography of iconic businessman, T.S. Kalyanaraman, the founder of Kalyan Jewellers, was unveiled in Mumbai by Bollywood megastar and Kalyan Jewellers’ brand ambassador – Amitabh Bachchan. As part of the unveiling ceremony, Mr. T S Kalyanaraman presented the book’s first copy to the iconic superstar, who released the much-awaited autobiography.
