Followers of Vandaniya Rashtra Sant Shri Tukdoji Maharaj’s sanstha embrace Heartfulness


  • Remarkable Development paves way for a new order in Spiritual Collaboration for betterment of Humanity and Society

In what could be described as a beginning of new phase in the evolution of spiritual organisations in the country, the followers of Vandaniya Rashtra Sant Shri Tukdoji Maharaj’s Sanstha ( Known as Shri Gurudeo Seva Mandal) have announced that they would embrace the practises of Heartfulness. This was announced by the Key functionaries of the Shri Tukdoji Maharaj’s Sanstha at Kanha Shantivanam the Global Headquarters of Heartfulness, in presence of Daaji Guide of Heartfulness. At a ceremony to mark the occasion, a granite statute with engravings of Teachings of Sant Tukdoji Maharaj was unveiled in the pristine of Kanha Shantivanam.

Commenting on the development President Prakash Wagh of Akhil Bharat Shri Gurudeo Sewa Mandal said,  “Teachings of Heartfulness and Daaji are similar to everything we have learnt from Maharaj ji and we feel honored to be in the presence of Daaji to learn the ways to experience those teachings on daily basis through the practice of Meditation. The honor and respect Daaji has given to Maharaj ji has touched our hearts and we will feel that jointly such teachings of transformation will reach millions of people all over the world.”

While General Secretary Shri Janardan Pant Boothe said, “We are amazed to find the similarity in the teachings of both of the organizations. We had always felt that Maharaj ji's teachings would reach all over the world and now we have found that Daaji would be the deliverer of those.”

Heartfulness meditation practise is steadily gaining prominence across the world and in the last one year through Dhyanotsavs (the transformational outreach programs across tier 1,2&3 cities) touched millions of Indians. More than 175 Dhyantosavs across the length and breadth of the country have resulted in hundreds of villages adopting Heartfulness and lakhs of people benefiting from its practise. Daaji’s role as a silent changemaker in helping achieve and accelerate Human Transformation is being reinforced with today’s development
While addressing the audience at International Yoga Conference at Mysore in November 2019, Daaji had given a clarion call for all spiritual organisations to work together for the upliftment of humanity. “The coming together of two of the oldest spiritual organisations is a milestone achievement. Organisations which are all aligned towards upliftment of society can benefit from each other’s strengths and speed up the process of   betterment of humanity. In this extremely volatile world of today, the need for positive forces coming together is the need of the hour and this is a first step towards motivating many more organisations to work together towards a common cause”said, Daaji the Guide of Heartfulness.

The Granite plaque installed at Kanha Shantivanam, the world Headquarters of Heartfulness Institute, will institutionalise the teachings of the Shri Tukdoji Maharaja and practitioners of Heartfulness can benefit from these teachings.” As a mark of respect to the great leader it was important that his teachings continued to reach millions more, at Heartfulness we are fortunate that his teaching in form of engravings have found a permanent fixture and will touch the lives of all those who visit Kanha in decades to come”, added Daaji.    
  
 Tukdoji Maharaj (30 April 1909 – 11 October 1968) was a spiritual saint from MaharashtraIndia. He was born in 1909, in the village of Yavali in Amravati District of Maharashtra. Tukdoji Maharaj was involved in social reforms in the rural regions of Maharashtra and is a revered spiritual leader.  His Gramgeeta a treatise on means for village development has received many accolades for its insights and simplicity into developing villages. Many of the development programs started by him have continued to work efficiently even after his death. There are several lakh followers of the practise across Maharashtra, parts of MP, Telangana and Gujarat practise his teachings.

Shri Tukdoji Ji Maharaj has clearly advocated his followers to practice meditation and other spiritual practices. His advices were sung as prayers and Bhajan by lakhs of followers across Maharashtra and surrounding regions but the true practice of the same are found in Heartfulness. Thousands of seekers of Shri Tukdoji Maharaj Sanshta have already started Heartfulness practices and participate in the weekly group meditations of Heartfulness Institute at various locations in the country.
