Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region, while addressing at the Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai, said that both CMs from North Eastern States have demonstrated their commitment to growth in the NER. Adds it is the time of the North East; after 10 years of dedicated hard work and building infrastructure, soft power & human capital, today the North East is ready to take India ahead.
The Union Minister, MDoNER, highlighted that transformation will only be possible if we look at investment in new areas; there has been centuries of transformation squeezed into a decade. The North East is ready today and immense potential is represented by these eight states.
Professor Dr. Manik Saha, Chief Minister, Tripura addressed the Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Colaba, Mumbai. During his address, he expressed his gratitude to the MDoNER for providing a platform to enhance investment and business opportunities for NER. He added that Hon’ble PM Modi has given prominence to the North Eastern States under the Act East Policy. The CM of Tripura underlined that we are striving for higher growth in a time-bound manner and it requires investment in the economy; he adds that the connectivity to the state is remarkable with the operating national highways, railways, and airports. Adds Tripura’s queen pineapple has got a GI tag & the tourism, temples, cultural heritage, archaeological sites, eco-tourism etc in the state are exceptional.
Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri Conrad K Sangma addressed the North East Investors Summit at Mumbai and envisioned on the developmental progress lies ahead for all the North Eastern states of India. He further thanked the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Minister of DoNER Shri
Jyotiraditya M Scindia
for prioritising North Eastern states so much and addressed the investors to invest here in order to get more returns.
