Mumbai, 8th April 2025 –

The JK Tyre – WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley 2025 is set to take place on Saturday, 12th April 2025, with over 300 women drivers and navigators participating in this exciting and meaningful event. Organized by the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), this annual rally aims to celebrate the spirit of womanhood while spreading awareness about women’s safety, empowerment, and road discipline.

The highly popular Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rally will be flagged off from NSCI, Mumbai, and will travel to the picturesque Gateway Nashik, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony later that evening.

Addressing the media, Mr. Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman, WIAA, said:

“The goal of the annual women’s rally is to advocate legislation and policies for women’s empowerment and for their working rights. We push for girl child education and fight against sexual harassment. Today’s woman is no longer a dependent soul. She is independent, self-reliant, and capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to. These rallies have gained tremendous popularity and are now a matter of pride and keen interest for all automobile owners.”

The rally, which is approved by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), has become a significant milestone in Mumbai’s motorsports calendar. It not only showcases the empowerment of women but also serves as a platform to promote road safety. WIAA continues to play a pivotal role in training women drivers and educating them about safe driving practices and road regulations.

Following the rally, winners will be felicitated during a grand awards ceremony on the evening of 12th April 2025. Participants will return to Mumbai the next morning, post-breakfast.
