Mumbai, May 25, 2020:  India's leading financial services platform Paytm Travel, today announced that with the government easing lockdown norms and allowing domestic airlines to resume operations, the company has seen an increase in the demand for air tickets. According to Paytm Travel, a majority of the tickets being sold are of travellers going from metropolitans to tier-II and smaller cities.  The flight search volume on Paytm Travel in the last few days has been trending at close to 200% of the average daily search volume witnessed before the lockdown began in March. Since the bookings opened up,  there has been  over 85 lakh  searches  for flight tickets with a surge in demand happening over the weekend. The searches hit a peak of 1.77 lakh requests per hour during the last three days. Keeping in view the special parcel trains being operated by the Central Railway in Maharashtra, it has been decided to synergise the capabilities of India Post and Indian Railways within Maharashtra State by offering India Post Railway Parcel Service w.e.f. 15/05/2020. Pune, 6th May 2020:  Amidst COVID-19 lockdown, some ‘good samaritans’ have come forward to help the needy. Among them is Rashmi Prasad, an employee of Aide et Action International, who is aiding 200 families hailing from the marginalized section of society. She has arranged food provisions in Pune and Mumbai to enable them to tide over the joblessness in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown. As of now, food kits worth Rs. 400 each, have been distributed to 140 domestic workers. These food kits comprise rice, flour, pulses, oil, salt and sugar. Also, girls have been provided 2 reusable cloth masks and a bar of antiseptic soap. 60 families of youth, who have received training under the iLEAD programme, were provided food material worth Rs. 600 each which included kitchen supplies like rice, flour, pulses, oil, sugar, salt, turmeric powder, pickle and biscuits and sanitary products for girls. Delhi citizens cope second best with current crisis Mumbai. 29 th  April, 2020:  TRA Research, a consumer insights and brand analytics company, today released a new finding from its recent white-paper, a research survey conducted across 16 cities with 902 urban citizens to delve deeper into the Mental Wellbeing of citizens across urban India.  Guwahati citizens showed the highest mental Wellbeing (84%) in their ability to cope with their current worries of family health and work stability as well as their fears on the country’s health and economic impact. This was followed by Delhi-NCR (78%) which had the second best Mental Wellbeing score. Other cities which displayed a ‘Good’ ability Mental Wellbeing of their citizens include Indore (75%), Coimbatore (73%) and Pune (72%). Mumbai showed the lowest Mental Wellbeing Index at just 28%, showing severe stresses and anxieties among the citizenry, followed by Lucknow at 36%. ...
