MUMBAI 5 JULY 2026 : The Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MACCIA) has officially launched its ambitious 'Gav Tithe Udyojak' (An Entrepreneur in Every Village) initiative, aimed at transforming the state’s rural economic landscape. The announcement was made during the grand installation ceremony(on 4th july) where Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis handed over the presidential charge to the newly elected MACCIA President, Ravindra Mangawe, for the 2026–2028 tenure. Spanning from 2026 to 2031, the high-impact campaign aims to nurture 36,000 Rural Micro Entrepreneurs (RMEs) across all 36 districts of Maharashtra.
