The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi addressed the National Rozgar Mela via video conferencing today and distributed about 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various Government departments and organizations.

A total of 495 candidates were given appointment letters in today's fifth Rozgar Mela organized in Mumbai, Pune and Nanded in Maharashtra. The newly  appointed candidates are recruited in various departments of India Post, Railways, Hindustan Petroleum, Medical Services, Border Roads Organization and Defence.

A total of 172 candidates were given appointment letters in a program held today at Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium in Mumbai. Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel, Faggan Singh Kulaste, handed over appointment letters to 36 candidates in person on this occasion. Maharashtra's Minister for Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.


 

Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel Faggan Singh Kulaste said that the Rozgar Mela launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an important initiative of the government. He further added that the government is providing employment opportunities on a large scale to the youth on the basis of their merit in a transparent and easy manner through this initiative. On this occasion, Kulaste also assured that the government's aim is to provide around one million jobs under this initiative and the government is committed to fulfill this goal in the coming years.

A total of 135 candidates were handed over government job appointment letters in an Rozgar Mela held at Symbiosis Institute in Viman Nagar, Pune in the presence of Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Narayan Rane. On this occasion, Minister appealed to the youth of today to make a valuable contribution in making the country (Aatma Nirbhar) self-reliant. While Providing statistics, he further informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to give government jobs to 10 lakh youths across the country in the current year and till now 2 lakh 88 thousand youths have been given government job appointment letters. Rane further added that these newly appointed youths will get an opportunity to serve the countrymen in the Amrit kaal (Period of next 25 years till centenary of India's Independence).


 

Moreover, Rane expressed his belief that efforts are underway to take the country to the third position in the world in the next 5 years and the participation of the youths will be valuable in those efforts too. Minister further informed that Government is planning to establish new industries in such a way that India's imports will decrease and exports will increase and appealed to the youth to contribute sincerely in this planning. On this occasion, he expressed his determination to establish a new industrial hub in the country based on the latest technology. On this occasion, Minister also appealed to the government employees alongwith youth of the country to contribute in the country's economy, which is about to take a huge leap at the international level, after the central government has successfully fulfilled the responsibility of not allowing the country's economy to deteriorate during the Corona period.

Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve, while speaking at the 5th Rozgar Mela program organized in Nanded, asserted that the youth of India has become the real asset of the country. Danve said that it is a matter of pride for us to have Indian youth working at prestigious positions in various fields of the world today. He also said that the youth of our country are rendering their services not only in India but also in the entire world, which values a lot for us.

Union Minister of State for Railway Coal and Minerals Raosaheb Patil Danve was the chief guest at the 5th Rozgar Mela organized at Niyojan Bhavan in Nanded. On this occasion, MP Prataprao Patil Chikhlikar, MLA Rajesh Pawar, Divisional Manager of South Central Railway Niti Sarkar, etc. were present. About 188 youths were given appointment letters at the hands of dignitaries on behalf of the postal department and railway department at Nanded through the fifth employment fair.

This Rozgar Mela is a further step towards fulfilling the commitment of Prime Minister to give top priority to employment generation. The online orientation course for all these newly appointed employees in various government departments will provide an opportunity to the newly recruited employees to train themselves through the forum 'Karmayogi Pramukh'.

The programs organized at these three places were attended by various dignitaries along with appointed candidates and their families in large numbers.
