Maharashtra Postal circle shall issue a special cancellation on the occasion of "World Environment Day" on 5th June, 2022. The cancellation is being released to create awareness amongst the public regarding use of renewable energy, waste segregation and recycling of resources. This cancellation will be available for only one day in all 6 philately bureaus under the circle viz Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Panaji during the first half of the day. Philatelists and collectors are requested to take advantage of this opportunity.
