Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI), the sustainability partner at IIT Bombay Half Marathon guided & helped the organizers to divert waste going to landfill, total 116 kg of plastic waste generated during the run will be recycled in the right manner.
4,000+ people participated in IIT BHM, held inside the IIT Powai campus away from the traffic, noise and pollution that are characteristics of most of the regular running routes in Mumbai.
