The Oscars Performers Announced


~Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Lin Manuel Miranda and more to perform!~


The 89th Academy Awards announced the performances who will be belting put the nominees for Music in Original Song. The list includes: Singing sensations Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Sting, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Auli'i Cravalho.

Each of the performers will be certainly brightening up the Dolby Theatre on Sunday with a feature of all the Oscar Nominated songs throughout the awards ceremony.  Alongside Host Jimmy Kimmel, All five songs nominated for Music (Original Song) will be performed, including "How Far I'll Go" from Animated Feature Film nominee MOANA, "The Empty Chair" from JIM: THE JAMES FOLEY STORY, "Can't Stop the Feeling" from TROLLS, and both "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)" and "City of Stars" from the 14-time-nominated LA LA LAND.

‘How Far Ill Go’ will be performed by Auli'i Cravalho who will join Miranda to perform his Oscar-nominated song. In Manuel Miranda is a noted actor, playwright and composer who is best known for creating and starring in the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In the Heights. This will be the first time for the composer on the Oscars stage along with 16 year old Cravalho who made her film debut voicing the title character in MOANA.

Legendary Grammy-winner Sting will perform "The Empty Chair" from JIM: THE JAMES FOLEY STORY, the Oscar-nominated song which he co-wrote with three-time Oscar-nominee J. Ralph.

Timberlake will perform his Oscar-nominated song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from the movie TROLLS.  John Legend will perform both “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars,” from LA LA LAND. The singer who was also a part of the 14 nominated films, A singer-songwriter, musician and actor, Legend won an Oscar for the original song “Glory” from SELMA an honor he shared with artist Common.
