If you can not travel to Punjab , the only other option is to be the guest at#‎BaisakhiFoodFest‬ ( Nawab Saheb ) , Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel Marriott Hotels , Powai to indulge in Vatan ki yaad.

We the Mumbai bloggers were invited by Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel to  celebrate Baisakhi, the traditional harvest festival of Punjab with a gastronomical expedition of Amritsar. With an aim to create the most authentic Punjabi menu for the occasion, Executive Chef - Chef Surjan Singh Jolly discovered culinary secrets of his home - town and drew inspiration from the traditional eateries and their most relished dishes.

On this special occasion of #BaisakhiFoodFestival , Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel has decorated the Nawab Saheb restaurant to experience the fervor and vibrant colors of the Punjab with lip-smacking Punjabi food, live Gazal-singing and foot tapping Bhangra.

All the diners were welcome to be part of the grand fervour of Baisakhi, recreated at the Nawab Saheb restaurant ( Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai ) rollicking dinner buffet consisting of authentic Punjabi cuisine .

Snow-white, creamy, foamy Lassi made a sweet debut at the #BaisakhiFoodFest and then the yummiest Punjabi starters like Kasturi Paneer Tikka , Bhutte de Kebab, Gur Mandi Di Tikki, Bharwan Kumbh, Rupnagar ki Seekh, Paneer Nanihal , Sarso da Saag , Daal Makhani , Wadiyan wali Chawal, Keema Gobi Choleya de Naal, Laccha Paratha , Tandoori Roti appeared on our Nawabi mej to be savored leisurely.

We enjoyed this royal , luxurious treat, to the beats of live farmaaishee Gazal and Bhangra. Many diners could not resist the temptation of infectious Balle Balle and joined the fun.

hi, just a suggestion if I may- experiment more with night photography- you will be able to get slightly better images- some of them appear bit dark and could have come better either with flash or with slower shutter speed...
